GUIDED VISITS
The purpose of the Jade Museum’s guided visits program is conducting organized groups of persons through the different exhibition rooms in the museum. Therefore it is a follow-up offered by the Institution to users so they may access the permanent and temporary exhibition’s topics, widening their knowledge under the guide of trained staff.
In the case of our exhibition areas, the message transmitted in each room is achieved with a verbal introduction before entrance of visitors, who are later accompanied to the same, supplying specific information about the objects or answering their questions or doubts on the topics.
Visits made available to the public are organized according to factors such as definition of an objective related to the tour, or aspects of time availability of visitors; for example, some are of general exploration nature and as the case may be, or depending on the degree of interest, an in-depth activity may be carried out.
Groups of school and college students are expected to receive this accompaniment supported by visits to the room/atelier where they study themes treated in the museum, but more practically, as a teach-back activity.
The guided visits program has the goal of being organized in a future, according to the profile of the different publics visiting the museum, with reference to prior information and after a tour through our web site.
If you wish to learn more about this service offered by the museum, or program a guided visit, please access the form “Contact Us,” complete the required information and we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
